Eind 2015 is een groot internationaal project in het kader van European Union Horizon 2020 gestart: GRACE: Gender and Cultures of Equality. Atria is een van de projectpartners. In 2016 stellen we de collectie beschikbaar voor onderzoek en geven 2 trainingen over samenhang van bronnen, onderzoek en beleid op het gebied van gendergelijkheid.

Doel van GRACE:

• Systematisch onderzoeken van de culturele productie van gendergelijkheid in Europa, bijvoorbeeld in de media, kunst en sport
• Focus op culturele bronnen in samenhang met veranderend beleid en wetgeving
• Opzetten van een onderzoeks- en trainingsprogramma voor 15 promovendi

• European boundaries and the production of cultures of equality
• Print capitalism and the making of gender equality
• The impact of ‘polymedia’ digital platforms on the production of cultures of equality
• Translating critical competencies into innovative cultural practices for employability and gender equality
• Medicalised images and the production of cultures of equality
• Visualising gender equality in Europe through art and screen
• The contemporary text as a site for the production of cultures of equality
• The legacy of literary canons, European and beyond, as sites for the production of cultures of equality
• Theorising the gendered body as a site of contest of cultures of equality
• Migrant and diasporic productions of gender equality
• ‘Street’ culture, youth and the urban experience of gender equality
• Sport as a site for the production of cultures of equality
• Gender equalities in a city of culture
• Critics and the cultural politics of equality
• Curating cultures of equality in post imperial European contexts
