The board of Atria’s charitable foundation – the Aletta Jacobs Fund – has been reorganised. They bid farewell to Frieda de Pater and Yolande Ulenaers and welcome Geneviève Koolhaas-Martis, Maayke Botman and Nina Guillerme, who will take on the role of treasurer.

Nina Guillerme is a diversity and inclusion specialist with extensive international experience as a consultant, trainer and project leader. She bridges the gap between strategy, policy and practice to make organisations more inclusive and future-proof.

Maayke Botman is a socially-driven consultant with a strong background in philanthropy, policy and academia. She is an expert in the fields of equal opportunities, intersectionality, feminism and anti-racism, with extensive experience in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.

Geneviève Koolhaas-Martis is a GP (general practitioner) and board member with expertise in women’s health, diversity and public health issues relating to existing health inequalities. She bridges the gap between medical practice, policy development and social impact.

Through its support for initiatives such as Atria’s Fellowship Programme and the ‘Gender in Policy’ conference, the Aletta Jacobs Fund contributes to the further development of knowledge on gender equality and women’s history. The board now consists of Dr Joos Droogleever Fortuijn, Petra van Dijk, Geneviève Koolhaas-Martis, Maayke Botman and Nina Guillerme.
