Visiting and postal address

Hamburgerstraat 28A

The Netherlands

Atria is on the 3rd floor. Entrance via the square in front of the old courthouse.
Please ring the doorbell outside and walk past the reception of the Utrecht Archives – if anyone is there, please let them know you’re visiting Atria – and head for the lift on the left.

Accessibility

Are you unable to climb stairs, or do you use a wheelchair?
Please contact us on +31 30 880 4200 before visiting our reading room so that we know when you’re coming. We’ll then meet you at the wheelchair lift and assist you.
You’ll find the wheelchair lift just round the corner: Korte Nieuwstraat 14, at the entrance to the Court Hotel City Centre. Not at the Atria entrance on the square on Hamburgerstraat.

Accessibility

Atria is easily accessible – whether on foot, by bus or by car – and is just a ten-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station.

Bus: Take the city centre exit at Utrecht Central Station and change to bus 2, which departs from platform A2 at Utrecht Central Station. Get off at the Domplein or Catharijneconvent stop. From there, it’s just a one-minute walk to Atria. Alternatively, take one of the many buses that stop at Janskerkhof. From there, it’s a five-minute walk.

Car: If you’re coming by car, follow the parking route (P) to the Springweg car park in Strosteeg or the Kruisstraat car park. From these car parks, it’s about a ten-minute walk to Atria. Alternatively, you can choose to park for a fee on Lange Nieuwstraat or Nieuwegracht (a one-minute walk).
