Are you curious about how you can contribute to reliable information about sex work on Wikipedia? Do you want to learn to write without stigmas and misconceptions, and contribute to an inclusive online encyclopaedia? Then this writing afternoon is for you!
During this afternoon, we will dive into the extraordinary Red Light Sex Worker Archives - an archive managed by sex workers themselves. Phoebe Marsh, founder of the archive, will take you through the rich history of sex work, with material dating back to the 13th century! (English)
Then we will get to work ourselves: under the guidance of experienced Wikipedia editors, you will learn how to write and edit articles. You will be given useful tips, a clear manual and suggestions for what to write about. Whether you are a beginner or already experienced - everyone is welcome!
