Britt Myren

Dr. Britt Myren (she/her) is a senior researcher. For the alliance Act4Respect (collaboration between Rutgers, Atria and COC), she is project leader and researcher. Act4Respect focuses on the prevention of sexual and (ex-)partner violence among adolescents and young adults. Britt also supervises interns doing (historical) research in the collection.

Britt obtained her master's degree in medical anthropology and sociology from the UvA. She received her PhD from Radboudumc in 2023 at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics on the topic of patient-centred care around complications.

Thematic expertise: gender-based violence, prevention sexual violence and (ex-)partner violence, power relations and control, positive sexuality and reproductive health.
